Rare vintage find! This stunning 100% wool beret comes from the iconic Berkeley, California boutique brand Sweet Potatoes. Featuring a classic red \"Ultrabasque\" wool body made in the Czech Republic and custom-finished in the USA with whimsical multi-colored buttons and a statement plaid bow. Based on the tags, this is a vintage 1980s or early 90s wool beret from the brand Sweet Potatoes, a beloved boutique label founded in Berkeley, California. The \"Ultrabasque\" stamp inside indicates the wool base was crafted in the Czech Republic (historically famous for high-quality wool berets), then finished/designed by Sweet Potatoes in California. Details: Brand: Sweet Potatoes (Berkeley, CA) Material: 100% Wool (Dry Clean Only) Size: One Size Origin: Made in USA / Czech Republic Style: Parisian, Twee, Art School, 80s/90s Vintage Boutique Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
